Welcome to Conroe Music Teachers Association, a non-profit 501c(3) organization affiliated with Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA). Founded in 1992, CMTA has been named 'TMTA Best of State' four times since the inception of this prestigious award in 2006. Through Student Affiliates, our communities' young musicians can learn, compete, and perform in many areas of music including: composition, music theory or history, chamber music, ensembles, and performance.
